Computer Education

There are computers installed in six of our centres, with 4 centres having proper computer lab setup and the teachers are able to use the technology as a teaching aid. Children are undergoing training in computers, along with their regular studies, as Computer Education has been made an integral part of their regular studies.Due to the computer training the children are able to do computer studies within their school/college syllabus.

Tailoring Class

The tailoring classes help the girls and widows learn tailoring and earn their livelihood. The tailoring unit also stiches regular clothes and school uniform for the children of Ashadeep, which is provided to the children twice a year. We have tailoring classes in Dindoshi centre. Monetary subsidy is given for dinner for widows children.

Food & Nutrition

There is provision of one complete day meal and snacks for all the children, and mothers working in the centers. The weak and sick children get special care and milk.

Clothes

The children are provided with dresses and uniforms twice a year. The widows are provided with sarees, towels, bedsheets etc during the festive seasons.

Health Care

The Medical Dispensary at Dindoshi Centre is providing genuine medicine for deserving people. It is able to cater to the basic medical needs of the underprivileged people from the slums. The people get the service from a qualified MBBS doctor (Dr Parthasarathi) twice a week. Ashadeep organizes Eye checkup camps, in collaboration with Doctor Eye institute at Andheri (W), Mumbai. The patients are referred to Doctor Eye institute for eye treatments.

Fine Arts (Dance and Music)

Dance and Music is an integral part of the developmental activities. This helps the children to gain more confidence and develop their personality.

Camps & Picnics

Apart from the routine day to day activities. We also indulge in some fun and games. We arrange picnics, holiday camps and educational visits in groups. Through these camps, children get to study, play, learn arts and crafts and involve in many other activities.
